Richard “Rick” Jamerson passed away December 27, 2022, at home. He was 66.
He was born in Grass Valley in 1956, to Paul and Irma Jamerson. He was a lifelong resident of Nevada County. He graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1974 and received his bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Humboldt State University. While in college Rick worked as a faller for Robinson Timber, and later as a forester for Bohemia, and Sierra Pacific.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and exploring.
He is survived by his father, Paul Jamerson; sister, Louise Fuller; brother Ron Jamerson; step-brothers Tom and Ray Sawyer; and step-sister Cathryn Sawyer.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
