Ronald Edward McClung, 82, passed away March 17, 2023 in Grass Valley.
He was born April 8, 1941 in Butte, MT. He received his B.A. in History at Fresno State College, Fresno, CA. He also received his secondary teaching certificate. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1967 and worked for AT&T as an outside salesman.
He married Judith France, Marlene Han and on December 23, 1987 married Karen Schenerlein McClung.
He enjoyed fishing, reading and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He gave his everything to his family. He was loved.
He leaves his wife of 35 years Karen McClung, cared for by his exceptional daughter in law Gina Church, much love given by many : Bianca Costa and her daughter, Nayeli. Grandchildren, Lauren and Aaron, Justus and, RJ, Toby, Gabe. Daughter Kym Justus, who was always there, and her husband Ross, who was often our driver. Son, Michael Church, who picked me up in snow and sleet . All his Spokane family, sisters Jane and Sally and their husbands and children. These added joy to his life daily. The priests at St. Patrick’s. The staff at Wolf Creek Care Center.
He’s preceded in death by his parents Bill and Gladys McClung and his daughter Tracy McClung.
