Howard E. Miller, 87, of Grass Valley, CA, passed away on May 12, 2023, after a brief illness.
Howard was born on March 3, 1936, to Martin & Dora Miller in Oakland, CA. After graduation from high school, he went on to work for the Pacific Telephone Company.
In 1956, Howard married the love of his life, Bonnie. Howard and Bonnie had two children, Julie and Ken. In 1971 they moved from Fremont to Tahoe City, CA where they lived until 1982 when they moved to Grass Valley, CA.
In 1989, Howard retired from the phone company. In retirement Howard was dedicated to the Mason’s Grass Valley Lodge and held several leadership roles.
Howard was predeceased by his parents and three siblings. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Julie, son Ken (Shelly), granddaughters Shannon (Nate), Corinne, and grandson Nicholas.
