Thomas Nelson Greene passed away September 19 th, 2020 at 82. He came from a large family with 7 siblings. Survived by his children Mike, Ed, Chris and grandsons Nick and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Ann Greene and his son James. Retired at 55, Tom had been an excellent Union painter and wallpaper hanger for over 30 years. A real Jack-of-all-trades; there wasn’t a job he couldn’t or wouldn’t do to help someone. He lived life to the fullest and loved his community.

Tom was a respected assistant scoutmaster and volunteered at Hospice Thrift Nevada City where he loved to dress in wacky costumes to entertain customers and staff. He enjoyed collection antiques, traveling, fishing, gold panning, bowling, cutting the rug, hiking, skiing, boating, camping and being around his family and friends. Truly a great soul and lover of life, Tom is and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at Twin Cities Church, 11726 Rough and Ready Hwy, Grass Valley,CA 95945 on Friday June 30th, 2023 at 1 pm.; followed by a luncheon.
