Peggy Marie Shelton passed away on June 18th, 2023 in Marysville, CA. She was 88 years old.

Peggy was born in Alma, Co. on August 5th, 1934. Her family soon moved to Grass Valley where she spent her childhood and graduated from Grass Valley High school.

The Banking industry is where Peggy started her career at age 16. She worked many years with several banks and eventually retired as Vice President with Point West Bank in Sacramento.

Peggy was married to Don Shelton for 50 years. They resided in Granite Bay where she enjoyed gardening, cross stitch and her hummingbirds. She also loved fishing and hunting and they traveled in their motorhome throughout the US and Canada.

Peggy is predeceased by husband Don Shelton, her parents George and Katie Wood and her sister Barbara DePauli.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jeryl, her stepchildren, Kathy, Brenda and Curtis, grandchildren and a great grandchild, nephew Rick, niece Carla and former husband Jerry Yocum, Jeryl’s father.
