Born in Astoria, SD Ole is survived by his daughter, Gaylene Graham and son in law, Jeff, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ole is predeceased by his wife, Theadora Mae Ronningen (Oliver), his parents, Ole Ellison Ronningen and Digne Kristine Ronningen (Stornebekken), son Ole Lawrence Ronningen, Jr., daughter, Corinnne Rae Ronningen, and great granddaughter, Hannah. His ten brothers and sisters all passed before him as well, Sverre, Melvin, Norman, Howard, Roy, Kenneth, Arleen, June, Margaret, Hans, and Sonja.

Ole loved being outside, hunting, fishing, gardening, golfing, doing carpentry, building rock walls and fireplaces. He loved to dance, travel, and watch the Alabama Crimson Tide play football.

Ole was a member of Nevada City High School Class of 1946. He played on the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He worked for Nevada County Roads Dept., advancing to supervisor. He was a member of the Nevada City Country Club, the Sons of Norway, and the Elks Club.

We are very grateful to Freedom Hospice Care Team, who helped Uncle Ole in his last months, and the staff and friends he made at Prestige Assisted Living in Oroville.
