Patty was born March 7, 1953 in Kearney, Nebraska to Agnes and Keith Lowe.  She had five siblings, four brothers and one sister. In 1959 the family moved from Nebraska to Southern California where she attended grammar school , junior high and high school as well as some Jr. college.

In the early 80s she had her daughters Summer and Brittany with her then husband, now late Bill Williams. In the late 80s Patty moved with the girls to Northern California spending time in Tahoe as a blackjack dealer, then moving the Sacramento to be with Frank Barrett. She spent two decades with Frank, raising her daughters enjoying watching her children grow and play sports while She worked as a principal at a continuation school.

She was diagnosed and beat breast cancer in the early 2000s and after that, she was never really able to go back to work fully. She spent the last 10 years of her life with Dennis Fetzer in Grass Valley just enjoying being a grandma or as we called her Nanny.

She Enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, her kids, her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, thrifting, making silly videos, napping, sewing, and teaching her grandchildren to swim. She truly enjoyed laughing and living life to the fullest. She had big feelings, and not every day was a good & happy day, but her vulnerability allowed many others around her feel OK to be themselves and feel however they needed to.

She will be missed by many. Her laugh, the little jokes, her pranks to show you she cared. Her authentic nature that inspired others to be themselves. Her fierce warrior like advocacy and support for her family and friends. She was a fighter. She beat breast cancer and she courageously was fighting against Parkinson’s until her last day.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Dennis in grass Valley, her daughters Summer and Brittany. Her son in law Justin. Her six grandchildren, Ettman, Tank, Titan, Emma, Kingston, and Jon. Her five siblings, Kit, Greg, Gayle, Jon, Jerry, her brother and sister in laws and Her many nieces and nephews.
