SAMUEL “SAM” RAMEY

May 3, 1939 to February 23, 2024

Samuel Sam Ramey went to be with his Lord on February 23, 2024. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 3, 1939.

He moved to Grass Valley in 1949 where he attended local schools and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1957.

He married his high school sweet heart, Loretta Berg, in 1957. Sam worked hard as a local ceramic tile contractor and was well known in his trade.

Sam was a member of a few local hot rod clubs. He enjoyed barbecuing and family gatherings. He loved the great outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Loretta, daughter Deborah Early (Bruce), son Richard Ramey (Debra), four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, mother in-law, three sisters, and one brother.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, and brother.
