Roberta J. Thomas passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Grass Valley. She was 78.

The family will be scheduling a service soon.

She was born on April 17, 1946, in Torrance, CA to Rose and Harold Henriksen. She was married to Mark Thomas for 39 years. She was a manicurist for many years, as well as working for Blue Sheild and Michaels Crafts.

She loved plants, and flowers, and enjoyed coloring, baking, and reading.

Roberta was a wonderful person and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Thomas; daughters, Fern Thompson, Marietta Thomas, Leah West, and Martine Beals; son, Patrick Thompson; grandchildren, Crystal Thompson, Brooke Pettigrew, Larua Smith, Madeline Spears, Zachary Thomas, Jakib West, Zoie West, Corbin Beals, Ethan Beals, and Rylee Beals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose, and Harold Henriksen; brothers, Patrick, and Harold; and sisters, Marguerite, and Julienne.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
