Donald Dan Eslinger passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024.

He was born July 15, 1933 to parents Dan Eslinger and Elizabeth Bollinger Eslinger. The youngest of three children, Don was raised in North Dakota. After serving in the US Navy during the Korean War, Don moved to Santa Clara, California and worked at Stanford University. From there, he and seven colleagues started an electronics company, Argo Systems In the Silicon Valley.

After retiring in 1984, he and Leona moved out of the bay area finally settling in Grass Valley, California in 1989. Don was an avid reader, loved fishing, and loved traveling around the United States in his motor home.

Don was predeceased by his daughter Dana and brother Llewellyn. He survived by his wife Leona, daughter Shelley, son Eric, and sister Vione, grandchildren Nick (Calisse), Madeline, and Patrick and great grandchildren Elly, Quinn and Aven, and his beloved dog Abby.
