Alan B. Morford age 71 passed away on June 5, 2024, in Grass Valley, CA. Born of October 9, 1952, Alan dedicated number years to his career as a building contractor before spending the last 13 years working in Contractor Sales at Hills Flat Lumber in Grass Valley.

Alan was also actively involved in the community for many years as a member of the Grass Valley-Auburn Elks Lodge and a Clamper. His commitment to these organizations demonstrated his passion for his Community and tradition.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Susan Morford, his daughter Shea Morford-Hardin, son-in-law Bear (Brian) Hardin, grandsons Austin and Cody Hardin, and future daughter-in-law Emily Pachatko, and his great grandson Jaxson Hardin. and his cousin’s, nieces and nephews, brother-in-laws,and sister-in-laws. Alan proceeded in his death by his only son, Christopher A. Morford.

A Celebration of Life will be on July 20, 2024 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Condon Park BBQ AREA. Where friends, family and acquaintances can gather to honor Alan’s Legacy. Sharing memories of a life well-lived. Donation accepted.
