Linda Kay (Cavinder) Maclam, born on March 31, 1949, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, in Grass Valley, California, with her beloved children by her side.

Linda was a devoted Christian, whose faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Her legacy of love, faith, and dedication to her family will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughter Julie Ferguson of Rockford, Michigan, her son James R. Maclam of Oregon House, California, and her cherished grandchildren, Andy and Amelia. She is also survived by her brother, Dean Cavinder of Lake Havasu, Arizona, as well as her nephews, Jared Maclam and Garrett Maclam, and her niece, Amanda Maclam, all of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, James P. Maclam, and her parents, Dean and Rose Cavinder.

A private ceremony will be held to honor and celebrate Linda’s life and she will be laid to rest in Nevada City, California.

Linda’s kind spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
