It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Ruth Poulter, on December 20th, 2024.

She was not only an extraordinary mother, but also a fierce and compassionate woman whose love and guidance shaped us into who we are today. She had a way of balancing strength with kindness, always making sure we understood the importance of standing up for what is right, while also showing compassion and empathy toward others.

One of our fondest memories is the time we spent working together at her restaurant, Posh Nosh, in Nevada City. It was there that she instilled in us the value of hard work and loving what you do. Her legacy as an active member of the Nevada County community will live on through the kindness she showed and the strength she embodied.
