We all lost a dear friend, son, brother, uncle and cousin with the sudden passing of Lawrence “Larry” Carl Henslee on June 4, 2019. He was born on December 11, 1978 in Turlock, California to Paul and Rosie Henslee. Larry was the youngest of seven kids. The family moved to Nevada County in 1984 and Larry was immediately embraced by everyone he met. He graduated Nevada Union High School and went on to Yuba College to play baseball. He excelled at any sport he tried and was an incredible athlete. He had a passion for baseball and softball, he loved to be part of the team and met many lifelong friends through the years playing ball. Larry loved the country life, he loved fishing, playing golf, his cowboy hat and country music. Larry had an incredible voice and loved to sing country songs to those around him.

He is loved and missed by countless lives he touched through his life. His smile and positive outlook were infectious. He was a man of strong faith and inspired all of us.
