Rickey Glenn Frazer passed away on December 30, 2022 at home. He was 65 years old. A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Camptonville Cemetery. A potluck reception will follow at the Camptonville Community Center.
Rick was born February 8, 1957 to Ann and Richard Frazer in Ukiah, CA. He relocated to Grass Valley with his family in 1966, graduating from Nevada Union in 1975. He joined the Air Force after graduation, serving for nearly five years and earning the Air Force longevity service ribbon and good conduct medal. He married Teri Hastings in 1981, welcoming sons Douglas Alen in 1982 and Kenith Glenn in 1984. He gained two more sons, Ryan Kelly Hale and Aaron Jacob Hale through his relationship with Darlene Hale in 1990.
He was a plumber by trade, working for Roto Rooter locally before going into business for himself, later working for the Washoe County School District
Rick’s mischievous sense of humor and pranks always made those around him laugh. A devoted father, grandfather, son, and brother, he loved spending time with his family camping, fishing, and watching Westerns, football, and baseball.
He is survived by his mother Anita, his sisters Debbie and Kim, his brothers Randy, Richard, and Eric, his sons Ryan, Doug, Ken and Aaron, eight grandchildren, numerous extended family, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Anne, his father Richard, and his brother Mike.
