John Raymond Parkhouse Sr.
John was born May 12, 1924, in Los Angeles, California to John W. Parkhouse and Amelia (Mollie) Parkhouse.
On February 3rd, 2023, John passed peacefully, a life well-traveled.
An Army veteran of WWII. John served in England in the radiology department. Upon returning from the war John found a lifelong career path in the LP Gas industry as well as his bride of 56 years, Marlene. John shared his love of adventure and travel with Marlene and their three children John, Denise, and Piper by mixing business with travel when allowed.
Dad knew how to enjoy life! John was involved with multiple Masonic organizations, Grass Valley Rifle Rod and Gun Club and the Nevada City Elks.
John is survived by his three children, many grandchildren and oh so many great grandchildren.
A service will be held on March 18, at 1:00 PM at the Grass Valley Masonic Hall 126 South Auburn St. Grass Valley CA 95945.
