Andre Olivan (Andy) passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2023, at his home in Lake Wildwood.

Born, April 30, 1943 in New York, Andy spent his early years in Denver before moving to San Francisco when he was nine. He graduated from San Lorenzo High School and served seven years in the USMC as an air traffic controller. He retired from the insurance industry in 2008 after a long and respected career. Andy relocated to Lake Wildwood in 1996 where he lived with his wife, Amber.

Andy had a very entrepreneurial spirit and was forever developing business ideas. For many years, he volunteered at Western Gateway Park helping to maintain the grounds for all to enjoy. He is best known for his great sense of humor and his infectious laughter which he maintained all the way to the end.

Andy is survived by his wife, Amber, and his children – Charlyn Winiecki, Nicole Phelps (Glynn), Angelique Olivan, Andre Olivan II, Christina Rayfelt (Matt), Ashley Utley (Mitch), Celeste Vega, and Danica Vega (Brian Milhous) as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren (too many to name). He is also survived by some very special extended family members that he held very close to his heart as well as many dear friends. In his final days, Andy expressed how much he loved and how incredibly proud he was of each of these people! He will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held on October 7th at The Lake Wildwood Community Center – Marina Room.
