Gary Lendall passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, in Grass Valley. He was 82.
No services will be held.
Gary was born Sept. 17, 1941, in Sacramento, CA to Sheldon C. and Virginia Lendall. Gary graduated from Grant High School in 1958. After living several years in the Bay Area Gary moved to Grass Valley in 1988. He was employed at Raley’s in Grass Valley for 27 years. There he met and married his wife of 33 years, Mindy. Gary retired from Raley’s in 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Mindy (Hammond) Lendall; daughters Mary Ann, Nancy, and Lisa; 5 grandchildren; step-son, John Schwabecher, and two golden retrievers Annie and Brady.
He was preceded in death by his step-son, Eric Schwabecher in 2000.
Gary loved to fish, camp, garden and cook.
