Patricia Morad passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at home. She was 86.

A visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Hooper & Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Grass Valley.

Patricia was born August 28, 1937, in St. Joseph, Missouri to John and Wilma Byford.

She married Charles Morad in 1955, they were married for 38 years until his death in 1993.

She worked at Yuba River Lumber Company for many years, and at Hospice for the Foothills until her retirement.

She was a big Nascar fan and loved watching her races.

She was loved by so many and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her son, Charles Morad of Brunswick, GA; brother, Larry Byford of Arizona, 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John, and Wilma Byford; husband, Charles Morad; son, John Morad; daughter, Lisa Garcia; and brother, John Byford.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
