Kasey Patrick, a life-long Grass Valley resident, died April 21, 2024.
Kasey was born on Sept. 20, 2000, to Mark and Laura Patrick. She attended Bear River High School, and grew up playing volleyball, softball and performing in show choir.
Kasey loved being outdoors and hiking the local mountains, swimming in the Yuba River, camping and visiting the ocean.
In addition to being an accomplished sketch artist, she enjoyed painting, spinning pottery, tending to her house plants as well as cooking and baking.
Kasey had just celebrated her 2nd anniversary working at a senior home in Auburn where she was in the planning stages for their Mother’s Day brunch and was very excited about the preparations.
A mischievous giggle and an infectious smile, she lit up the room with her bubbly personality. Kasey was always fun to be around. She filled our hearts with immeasurable joy and laughter.
Kasey brought sunshine to the family. She loved her friends and family, and tremendously missed her father, Mark, who passed away in 2014. Kasey’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her mom, Laura; sister, Lee; grandparents, Tom and Connie Mattis and her beloved pets Toby, Rosie, and Jason.
She will be forever in our hearts and memories. Rest easy darling Kasey.
