Vivian Christensen passed away on May 17th, 2024, in Grass Valley, at the age of 95.

She was born in Niles, MI on Jan. 21st, 1929. Vivian moved between California and Michigan many times until moving to Nevada City, CA in 1981. She raised 7 children, loved gardening, singing, playing the keyboard, and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Verne; and daughter, Denise Hoskins.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Fisher; sons Mel Ostrander, and Ty Christensen; daughters, Sandra Rentz, Vickie Mason, Ann Chambers, and Sheila McKay; 12 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2024, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Grass Valley.
