Dana Lee (Biddle) Kime passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024 at her home in Penn Valley, CA.

Born to Manley and Ruth Biddle on May 18, 1943 in Toronto, Ohio.

Moving to Oakland, California at the age of 12, where she attended Junior and Senior High, she then married Emmett Kime in 1961. They lived in Hayward CA., until 1976 when she, her husband and kids moved up to Grass Valley to build their own home on Lost Lake Rd., and be close to her parents who lived in Cedar Ridge.

She went to work for Sierra College in the late 70’s working at the satellite campus at NU, then finished out her 30+ years with them at the Rocklin campus where she was a police dispatcher on campus, until her retirement.

Dana enjoyed genealogy, and donated countless hours to research and various projects related to that. She loved crafts, puzzles, reading, cats and listening to the police scanner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Biddle, daughter Kimberly Kime Greene, husband Emmett (Slim), and her son, Ed.
She is survived by daughter Marjorie Lee (Ed) Griffith, grandchildren Brandon Griffith, Cameron and Mikayla Kime, nephew Larry Biddle Jr. (Kim), nieces Cheryl (Paul) Klopfer, and Donna (David) Biddle who was with her Aunt Dana in her last moments.

Dana had an extensive group of bonus children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved and doted on.

We were all blessed at having known her and been loved by her and she will be forever in our hearts
