Leo J. Richert II, a 25-year resident of Nevada City, passed away November 16, 2024, at the age of 72.
A Celebration of Life will be held later for family and friends.
Leo was born May 9, 1952, in Port Huron, MI to Leo and Dorthy Richert. He married Judith and they started their adventure. Leo joined the U.S. Air Force where he was an avionics specialist for the SR71 Blackbird.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He will be missed.
Leo loved dog’s – any contributions to his namesake can be made directly to the SPCA (Nevada County)
