Bright Futures for Youth
Hooper & Weaver is proud to support Bright Futures for Youth, a nonprofit committed to making a life-changing difference for children and young adults in Nevada County. Bright Futures for Youth – created by the merger of The Friendship Club and NEO Youth Center in summer 2020 – has three programs: The Friendship Club, founded in 1995, NEO Youth Center, founded in 2008, and SAFE, launched in 2019 to help youth experiencing homelessness. Bright Futures for Youth focuses on health and wellness, healthy relationships, goal setting, self-awareness, self-sufficiency and community connectedness. Nevada County Agricultural Community
We’re honored to have long supported generations of farmers and ranchers who have helped build such a solid foundation for our community. We are pleased to support our agricultural community through 4-H, FFA and the Nevada County Fair.
Friends of Hospice
Hooper & Weaver is pleased to proudly support the Friends of Hospice. We host the Butterfly Garden of Remembrance every Memorial Day Weekend and the magnificent Tree of Love every December. Both of these activities provide an avenue for local residents to support the important mission of Hospice of the Foothills.
Grass Valley Ladies Relief Society
One of the longest running organizations in our community, any maybe one of the least known—at least to newer residents— is Grass Valley Ladies Relief Society. Established in 1873, the Ladies Relief Society is the organization behind Donation Day, which features an annual parade of local school children through Grass Valley which has now taken place through three different centuries. Owners and staff of Hooper & Weaver are active participants and supporters of the Grass Valley Ladies Relief Society.
